Where we Meet:
- Fortnightly Sunday Ride Outs: Start from The Garden Village (Shipley).
- Social and Committee Nights: The Claregate, Wolverhampton.
Fortnightly Ride Outs:
Wolverhampton Advanced Motorcyclists (WAM) go out on fortnightly Sunday ride outs starting at 9.30am, from The Garden Village (Shipley), which is the large garden and aquatic centre on the A454 just out of Wolverhampton on the way to Bridgnorth. These are valuable training runs and give you the chance to meet the others in the group, as well as have a bit of a laugh. The ride outs usually have you back by 4.00pm at the latest, but for those who cannot afford such a long time away from home, they are divided up by coffee breaks at which you can leave and go back home if you so wish. On the social side we have a social and committee night that takes place on the first Monday every month at 8.00 pm at The Claregate, Wolverhampton (Click here for directions). This is an informal event and gives people chance to meet others and have their say about the group. Other social events are organised by the group throughout the year, these involve meals out, first aid and other talks by speakers, slow control days and bike safe days.
